Aging with Style and Grace – July 29, 2017

Experiencing God in the Natural World – Saturday, September 23, 2017

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM – $45 – Includes program and lunch.  This retreat is limited to 20 people.  Spend the day with Annie McEntee, Spiritual Director and Director of Adult Formation at St. Elizabeth Church.  Learn to experience: Mindfulness and wonder in nature, Creation as a form of constant prayer, Creation’s prayer to God, God’s loving contemplation of creation, The healing embrace of Green.

Celtic Spirituality – The Road Less Traveled – September 29 – October 1, 2017

This retreat will be led by Brian Morgan, Spiritual Director and former Chairperson for Shalom House Advisory Council and Mike Jackman, Adult Ministry Leader and Current Shalom House Advisory Council Member.

The retreat will begin with dinner on Friday, September 29 and conclude after lunch on Sunday, October 1.  Major topics to be covered: A brief history of Celts and Celtic Spirituality, Celtic Spirituality Prayer and Stories, The reemergence of Celtic Spirituality, and Christianity in Today’s World.

The cost of the retreat is $200 (double occupancy) which includes two overnights, all meals and the program.  For a private room, the cost is $240 for the weekend.  To register, call Shalom House or send a non-refundable deposit of $50 to Shalom House with a notation that the deposit is for the Celtic Spirituality Retreat.
