The Shalom House property consists of 90 acres of mostly wooded land. The meadow along each side of the half-mile long driveway is where you will often see deer, red tail fox and wild turkeys. Those who love to do birding will be pleased with the diversity of year round inhabitants as well as migratory species around the grounds. Throughout the seasons you can see waterfowl, birds of prey and and a large variety of perching birds.
Beyond the farmhouse deck is a large green space and four-acre pond. More Adirondack chairs are scattered around the grounds for quiet contemplation. Various gardens and mindfully placed statues dot the property.
